Aberystwyth Arts Centre
The Aberystwyth Arts Centre is the largest arts centre in Wales. The Art Centre’s Concert Hall (the Great Hall) was opened in 1972 and was designed by architect Dale Owen of Percy Thomas Partnership, architects of Cardiff’s Millennium Centre. The Centre has been growing and expanding ever since and attracts over 500,000 visitors a year. Along with Ffresh – which the Arts Centre has hosted since the festival’s inception – the Arts Centre holds over 800 events a year.

S4C
Since 1982, all Welsh language TV programmes, from whatever source, have been transmitted on S4C to create one comprehensive Welsh medium service. Prior to S4C’s establishment, the limited number of Welsh programmes produced were scattered throughout BBC1 and ITV schedules. S4C is a commissioning broadcaster, rather than a programme producer, creating jobs and boosting the local economy throughout Wales. All the services on offer are transmitted from S4C’s Headquarters in Llanishen, Cardiff.

BBC Wales
BBC Wales is a division of the British Broadcasting Corporation for Wales. Based at Broadcasting House in Cardiff, it directly employs around 1100 people, and produces a range of television, radio and online services. BBC Wales produces television programming in English and Welsh both for the regional opt-out sections of the BBC One and Two network feeds, and for the dedicated Welsh-language channel S4C. BBC Wales also operates two radio stations: BBC Radio Wales in English and BBC Radio Cymru, which broadcasts in Welsh.
