Newport born film director Philip John (whose credits include Ashes to Ashes and Sugar Rush) will examine the new opportunities offered to filmmakers via the internet by examining his semi-improvised project Svengali. To support his analysis he will also look at scenes from A Short Film about Love, City Of God, and his film Wedding Belles.
