Filofestfilofest Film Festival

Filofest is an international student film and video festival run by and for students, screening student-made films of varying genres and length. We aim to encourage creativity by enabling young filmmakers to showcase their work to students and other viewers alike. Apart from film projections during the day, the week long festival also provides for a rich accompanying program in the form of creative filmmaking workshops, round tables, behind-the-scenes visits to TV stations, concerts of film music, parties etc. Our festival also traditionally hosts young filmmakers as we think it is important for everyone involved to meet, exchange ideas and expand their horizons. Students of film schools and academies are welcome to send their contributions to our non-competitive part of the program, while films made by students without any formal filmmaking knowledge will be featured in the competitive part of the program and run for the festival prize.
