We have some outstanding guests appearing at the festival including Kevin Allen (Twin Town), Nik Powell (NFTS) and Philip John (Being Human, Downton Abbey) as well as a special effects demonstration by award winning special effects company, Real SFX who have worked on Doctor Who and Sherlock.
As ever the awards will be an exciting gathering of industry and filmmakers, along with a drinks reception and our special Not So Silent Cinema which will be held in the foyer of the Atrium. Please arrive at 7pm for the awards if you are not there already! Dress code is smart casual but some people do love to get glammed up.
We do hope you will join us for what promises to be a fantastic celebration of 15 years of Ffresh.
We’re having a bit of a competition at Ffresh this year! win yourself one of our lovely wooden awards plus other prizes by taking part in our PechaKucha competition:
PechaKucha 10×20 is a simple, fun presentation format where you show 10 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. You can create this on ppt or prezzi or any other format but the rule is that you have to talk to the images and the images need to go forward every 20 seconds. Students can pitch potential project ideas (documentary, fiction, animation, games, performance, music – almost anything!) and the best two will be given prizes.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to put your name down to take part.
