Did we mention that Ffresh is loads of fun as well as being informative and engaging?
The programme consists of screenings, masterclasses, award ceremonies, Q&As and workshops, as well as numerous receptions and parties that carry on into the early hours.
Ffresh is open to anyone that would like to attend.
WHO WILL BE THERE:
- students with a keen interest in the moving image industry (film, animation, television, video, etc)
- recently-graduated students, and young and independent film-makers
- tutors and lecturers of moving image courses from universities and colleges throughout Wales
- professionals from a wide spectrum of the industry
- government and private sector organizations: arts councils, media agencies
- the press – don’t be surprised if you’re asked for an interview!
TICKETS / PRICES
Sessions and screenings are not charged at individual rates, rather we encourage people to register for the day (only £10), or for the two days (£20). You’re then free to attend as many events as you like!
The event is free to students attending courses at the following higher education institutions:
- Aberystwyth University
- University of Wales Lampeter
- University of Glamorgan
- Glyndwr University
- International Film School Wales, Newport
- Swansea Metropolitan University
- Trinity College, Carmarthen
HOW TO REGISTER UPON ARRIVAL
All those attending the Festival must register at the desk in the Arts Centre foyer on the day you would like to attend. This takes a few minutes to fill out a form and then – if applicable – pay by cash only. You will then be given a delegate bag, which includes the festival programme and gifts from the Festival’s sponsors.
