Film & Animation Masters Degrees with Added Benefits

If you want to further your passion for filmmaking or animation and could benefit from extra support, the Skillset Screen Academy Wales offers postgraduate pre-entry bursaries of up to £10,000 for:

• MA Film @ International Film School Wales, University of Wales, Newport
  
  
• MA Animation @ International Film School Wales, University of Wales, Newport
  
  
• MA 3D Computer Animation @ School of Digital Media, Swansea Metropolitan University

Deadline for applications 20 August 2009 with courses starting in September 2009

• MA Moving Image @ Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Glamorgan
  
  
• MA Film Producing and Business Management @ Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Glamorgan

Deadline for applications Friday 20 November 2009 with courses starting in February 2010

There are three types of bursary available: tuition fee bursaries; course related costs bursaries and combined bursaries for tuition fees and course related costs. 

FEES:

MA Animation

[18 months full-time; 36 months part-time; tuition fees £3,960]

MA 3D Computer Animation

[24 months part-time; tuition fees £2,010 approximately]

MA Film

[16 months full-time; 24 to 36 months part-time; tuition fees £5,445]

MA Moving Image

[12 months full-time; 24 months part-time; tuition fees £3,990]

MA Film Producing and Business Management

[12 months full-time; 24 months part-time; tuition fees £3,990]
